With little kids (I know, not a problem for the vast majority of members) evenings are spent taking care of the little ones. Saturday afternoon works because it's mid day, we can have someone look after our little girl, and have a nice trip and a lunch out somewhere together. It's actually been a "date" for us.

Weeknight? Bah!

Postby Happy on Sat Apr 17, 2010 11:57 am

Okay, so after the baby goes to sleep at 7p, I help take care of the newborn fro a moment, then hop in the car, take a moment to thrown the top down, and then head on down. I am just in time for the last announcement, a few drawings and the meeting is done.

I literally spent more time on the road on the way down, than in a "meeting"
Then there's the drive back.

I didn't know how it would time out, so I thought I'd give it a shot, but at this rate, weeknights are a bust for me.

If we continue with week nights, it needs to be later. 90 minutes in rush hour traffic to Grapevine.

Okay, the weekend trip / meeting sounds very interesting, but certainly not baby friendly. :)
Will have to see if we can finagle a little help around the house or I'll just see y'all at the next one.
